That was the begining of her new life.
My Maizy was Daizy but F4L already had a Daizy so she became Maizy. Well, now she live with a Daisy and Pheobe-oh and me...the human that they feeds them and they get to slobber on. I am so happy that she is now offically part of my family.
A place to share your stories about the furry friends that the volunteers at Friends for Life rescued from the streets. Because you adopted a dog or cat from us, you made space for us to be able to rescue another dog or cat. You saved two lives the day you adopted from Friends for Life!

Maizy is home!
My story of how I arrived at Friends for Life is not a wonderful one. I was found with my brother Peak - we were abandoned in the hot sun with no food or water and tied to a fence post. Thankfully someone at Friends for Life found us and we are now safe, fed, and have a big bucket of water! I am older and have hip dysplasia and bad knees. The vet said I do not need surgery, just someone with extra love in their heart. Despite my recent circumstances, I love people! The ideal home would have room for both me and my brother Peak (we are a two for one deal!), but Friends for Life has already started prepping me for the rest of my life without him - but we have already made new furry friends at the shelter! Please come and visit me - you will love me!
