My Happy Life

Dear Friends for Life,

My name is Rita Roo Bonita Cleopatra, but you can call me Rita. I lived at Friends for Life until my new mommy and daddy adopted me back in January of 2011. I came to my new home and found I had a new brother kitty, too! He was very tolerant and patient with me while I adjusted to my new home. I did not like being handled at all, so I just stayed in my own room for a few weeks while I adjusted to my new house. My mommy and daddy were very patient with me while they figured out that I prefer an open litter box and no scented litter. Pretty soon, I was walking around the house like I owned the place!

I've been at my new home for 7 months now and I couldn't be happier. My brother and I get along great, and we love giving each other baths. Sometime I tease him and chase him around the house, but it's all in good fun. My favorite activities include playing with my mommy's hair ties, dragging my glow-worm toy around the house, chasing my light ball, looking out the window at birds, and lounging in my cardboard box.

Life is good.
