Monty (formerly known as Bucky) came home with us as a foster. I had never really been a little dog person so I figured we were safe from being foster failures. Boy, was I wrong!
Monty attached himself to me right away. He couldn't stand to let me out of his sight. That was what first melted my heart. But I was going to be strong and love him while he was here but hope for him to find another home to call his "forever home."
Then came the drive to the shelter to take Monty for Saturday adoptions. We were sitting in the car at a traffic light and I took one look at his little face and knew I couldn't let him go.
That was back in October and we have loved every minute of having Monty here with us! He is my constant companion unless someone is eating. Then he is right there, offering his services as crumb catcher.
Having a sweet little boy like Monty has made our family complete. I have my bitty baby dog that I can cuddle and yes, dress up. I became one of "those" pet parents who dresses up their dog.
We have been blessed by having this tiny boy in our home.
