From Shelter Dog to Therapy Dog

It will be 2 years this November and Jamie is doing great. From when we rescued each other, she has blossomed into an awesome companion. A lot of walking & a healthy diet has kept her slimming 51 lbs from 67 lbs.

I couldn't wait to share with you that Jamie and I have (1) more test before we can register as a dog therapy team. I am considering working with hospice and also a "reading to dogs" program at the library. We will volunteer wherever Jamie is most comfortable.

Jamie has a trainer, Jennifer St. John. If it wan't for Jennifer, Jamie wouldn't be as socialized as she is today. Jamie is such a joy to the family and I couldn't imagine what life now would be like without her. We are so proud of her and so lucky to have her as our forever girl.

We will pay a visit to F4L once Jamie is registered to pass around her therapy cards.

Wish us luck!
