We were looking to get another cat (mostly looking for a kitten) when I saw the posts/pics on my friend Ann's FB (she is a volunteer with FFL). I knew I just had to have the cute little white-ish kitten. I didn't know if it was a girl or a boy (we were originally looking for a female due to existing male, and his sister) and we also didn't know how old it was.
When we finally got to meet the kitten, we found out it was a boy...but he was so sweet and loving that it was love at first site.
A few days after bringing Kona home, I joked with Ann about taking Keila too. Turns out, the brother and sister pair were so sick from missing each other. We knew what we had to do, we went and adopted Keila as well.
When they saw each other for the "first time" again after being separated they were so happy to be back together. They fell asleep in their cubey-bed all snuggle bug.
Now they are fully acclimated to their new daily lives with two older "siblings" (who happen to be brother/sister as well) and also a small human (named Julianna). They love to play, run around, climb the cat tree, and of course eat & sleep. They especially like to cuddle with us at night, with their motors going full force. I'm so happy we were able to adopt the two of them.
Thank you FFL!! (and of course my friend Ann!)
