Dazy Doolittle--(aka Daisy) was an alumni dog from FFL. She was at the shelter for 15 long months with no one interested in her. Dazy had a rather "colorful" past which made placement in her forever home that much more difficult. We took her home, over a Memorial Day weekend, in 2007, just to get her out of the kennel environment. Dazy had an amazing time at our Memorial Day weekend party. Dazy would run ahead and flop over for her belly rubs or her "growl on the belly" time. We brought her back and forth from our home to the shelter thru out the summer months. Then it happened: someone else was interested in adopting Dazy! It scared us so much that we would lose our beloved Dazy, that we adopted her. What were we thinking?
We had a big adoption party for her! Dazy loved a good party--it was always all about Dazy--as it should be.

We loved that big girl--"large and in charge". She was gentle, loving and very loyal. Her "laundry list" of cautions never were an issue in our home--she was grateful for her forever home, as we were grateful to be blessed with such a sweetheart. Time was too short with Dazy Doolittle though. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer, January 2009.
Dazy Doolittle is forever our friend for life.
