Wrigley (previously known as Handsome)

I just wanted to send a quick note to update everyone on Wrigley's (aka Handsome) transition into the family.

Things were touch and go at first and we weren't sure how things would pan out with Cirrus. With patience and a great trainer to help us through the process, both boys are adjusting to each other and doing very well!

The baby gate is down and both boys spend most days snoozing away in the kitchen. Last night was the first night both migrated into the bedroom for lights out. Yeah!

We have a pet sitter coming to the house twice a week to take Wrigley out for a mid-day stretch. Everyone who meets him falls absolutely in love! I can't say I blame them! My husband takes Wrigley for 3 walks every day. As soon as Fred comes through the door, the tail starts wagging and the heavy breathing begins! Wrigley has a little "snort" when he gets excited and we both have a good laugh.

I hope you can share this with Wrigley's foster mom. I am forever indebted to her for her generosity and for the loving care she gave to my little man. Please let her know that he continues to gain weight and, like Cirrus, loves being on "kitchen patrol". When a cabinet or refrigerator door opens, his head is soon to follow! He continues to enjoy his dog food with scrambled eggs and chicken, a little seaweed and his fish oil pill. He has several patches of new fur and seems to have more and more energy every day.

I am attaching a photo of my guys hard at working sleeping the day away. Thank you to everyone who made this adoption possible. We couldn't be happier with our new addition!
