She was very shy and we were told to keep her in a guest room or a secluded place until she got used to her new home. It was only a couple of hours later that Violet had claimed our home as her own.
When I returned the cat carrier a few weeks later the volunteer asked what cat we had adopted and how things were going. When I told her we got Viloet and she was perfect, she said she was so glad to hear that. They were worried about Violet because she was so shy and not as outgoing as her sister.
I assure you Violet is perfect for us and she has slowly come out of her shell. We would like to thank the foster family who took care of her for four weeks before we adopted her. And we'd like to know what Violet's history is and how she ended up at Friends for Life?
She is a love and is very playful. She loves to play "tag" and "peek-a-boo" and pipe cleaners are a favorite toy. She is honestly the sweetest cat I have known.

Hi there! I am Shannon, Violet's foster mommy! I am just over the moon to hear how well my little Violet Beauregard is doing!! She was such a joy to have in my home, along with her sister, Seraphina. I have been through a few foster kittnes since, but I believe that Violet and Seraphina were dropped off at Petsmart by a woman who had just seen their mama get hit by a car. I happened to be at Petsmart at the time and offered to take them. Luckily, they were old enough to start eating canned kitten food, but I have some very funny pictures of them after they ate and then, after their daily bath! Please give Violet a kiss and hug for me. She is a beautiful girl! ~ Shannon
