We have a new love in our family -- and are totally thrilled! We adopted Prince Charming from Friends for Life on June 16. With a new name -- Hamish (or Hammie) -- he has joined our feline family with great success! He has bonded wonderfully with our other cats -- Gus, 14, Maggie, 5 and Sweet Pea, 2. He is especially fond of Gus and they spend a lot of time hanging out together. Hamish is an usually affectionate, sweet kitty with a wonderful spirit. He makes us laugh every day and has been a great comfort to my husband who has been facing some difficult health challenges lately. We're convinced that this adoption was truly meant to be and we're so grateful to the wonderful volunteers who nurtured this very special kitten during his stay with you and who helped to make the adoption happen!
I am so thrilled that Prince Charming found such a wonderful home! He looks absolutely happy and content and I love the picture of him snuggling with Gus. Prince Charming's mother was a beautiful calico who had him in my backyard. I considered keeping him but I already have three cats. I know everyone at the shelter fell in love with him too. Thank you for adopting him and making him a part of your family!
